Hi,

I need some knowledge about word gifs animation. Our advertising company will be conducting some seminar about animation and other graphic designing course outline; it is not that easy to be a part of the team. We need to gather information about animation and study the relevance, history and the software application. Please suggest some reliable software to be use and any video tutorials will do.

Software and Video Tutorials about GIF Animation

 

Hi Isabella Barry,

A GIF (Graphics Interchange Format) file is a Web graphic image. That is a combination of a sequence of images. The animation of a GIF can loop forever or just play one, two, or several times. Animated GIFs are mostly used on Web, especially for ad banners.

Some other tools (such as Flash, Java) can create animated image similar to GIF. However, these tools are harder to use, and their results often larger (in size), thus slower when display on Web.
