Software recommendation for mpeg2 encoder avid studio

The codec that i have in my computer is only mpeg4 encoder. What software can you recommend to use for mpeg2 encoder avid studio?

Hello Geraldine Carr,

In order to get your mpeg2 video files smoothly running in your computer you have to install mpeg2 codecs in your system. If you want assistance in using any third party software then you can use VLC media player. After installing VLC player you do not have to install any other codecs as it has built-in capability to run almost all media formats.
