I am using MS Word 202.When typing in Word, a solid black bar appears across the page over the line or lines in which I am typing. As a result, I cannot view or read the contents of what I am typing? Anyone knows what is the reason and how can I solve this issue ?

I’m quite confused as to what version really it is you are using because you wrote “MS Word 202” and I can’t figure it out if it is 2012 or a different version. Anyway, if you see a solid black bar on your screen as you type in Microsoft Office Word, I guess you should check if your computer meets the requirements.
If you are using Microsoft Office 2013, you should have at least 1 GB RAM, 1366 x 768 screen resolution-capable monitor, and running on Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008 R2, or Windows Server 2012. Also, make sure you have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, 4.0, or 4.5. If you haven’t installed any versions of Microsoft .NET Framework then that is probably the reason.
To fix the problem, download and install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.2. Also, try updating the driver of your graphics adapter.
