Hello,
There is an error that pops up when I launch SolidWorks. It is as shown in the image below. I have not been able to create my designs anymore so am waiting for your suggestions.
SolidWorks Enterprise PDM
Error loading add-ins.
Message from database:
An outgoing call cannot be made since the application is dispatching an input-synchronous call.
SolidWorks Enterprise PDM showing some Error
I think this error you have is somewhat rampant and not only happens in SolidWorks but in other programs as well especially in those users writing a program. Since it is clear in the message that the error is from the add-ins and not from the actual application, try to find a way how to uninstall these add-ins from SolidWorks.
If the add-in doesn’t originally come from SolidWorks, uninstall it from the program using its uninstaller. But if it doesn’t provide any uninstaller, visit the website where you downloaded it and check if there is an available uninstaller there. If there is none then check the site how you can remove the add-in from SolidWorks.
There is no way of fixing the error in the add-in because the error “An outgoing call cannot be made since the application is dispatching an input-synchronous call” is triggered by an error in the programming of the add-in. So the only way to fix it is to remove the add-in from SolidWorks.
If you cannot uninstall the add-in and it doesn’t originally come with SolidWorks, try reinstalling. Uninstall SolidWorks, restart your computer, and then install SolidWorks again. This will surely remove the add-in from SolidWorks.
