I have been trying to install MySQL V5.5 on my PC, but each time I am getting an error saying system error 1067 has occurred the process terminated unexpectedly. I need an urgent fix to the solution. Please help.

Solution For System Error 1067 Has Occurred The Process Terminated Unexpectedly Error

To fix this problem, you need to delete contents of MySQL in program data in c drive.
Then you have to ensure that
You kill all instances of “mysqld” in process monitor.
You remove all existing services by using “sc delete MYSQLxx”
After that do a clean reinstall of MySQL. This should definitely work.
