I am looking for ways to VMware convert ide to scsi. I am unable to find any proper solution. If any of you guys know how to do it, please help. Any assistance will be deeply  appreciated. Thanks.

Solution For VMware Convert Ide To Scsi Listed

To convert ide to scsi, follow steps given below-

1. You need to find the data store path where the virtual machine resides
2. Open the primary disk i.e. .vmdk
3. Locate ddb.adaptertype=”ide”
4. Instead of ide type lsilogic or buslogic based on your needs
5. Save the file and then in the client go to edit settings and remove ide disk
6. Then add disk again by finding it’s location and adding it.
