I need help fixing the wlan autoconfig error 1068 while connecting to the internet via my router. I haven’t found any fix for this. Guys please help.

Solution For Wlan Autoconfig Error 1068 Problem

To fix this-

1. Type regedt32 in start and then right click on the search result and then open it as administrator
2. Select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
3. Select system and then current control set and then services
4. Click on DHCP and from the files in that double click on the ”depend on service”
5. Delete everything except afd in text area
6. Then in services look for eaphost and then in that find depend on service, open it and delete everything inside it
7. Restart Windows.

This will fix the error.

Solution For Wlan Autoconfig Error 1068 Problem

This problem can happen if the service is corrupt. To try fixing the problem, click “Start” then in the search box type without quotes “regedit.exe”. Right-click on “regedit” then select “Run as administrator.” Navigate to this location:

• [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Ndisuio]

Double-click “Start” on the right then change the value to 2.

Close the registry editor window then restart the computer. See if it works. If this did not work, take a look at this fix: Unable to start WLAN AutoConfig. You must have a Microsoft account to download the “EAP.txt” file.
