Hi! I’m trying a Wi-Fi setup for my printer but, during installation, I’m receiving this ‘0x00000704’ error code. How can I fix this error?

Solution Of 0x00000704 Error Code

Follow the steps given below to fix this ‘0x00000704’ error code-

• Perform a backup of the Registry of your Operating System.

• Find the Registry Key:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\OSUpgrade]

• This Registry Key must already exist. If not, create it.

• Create a new DWORD Value that is named ‘AllowOsUpdate.’

• Set Value to 0x00000001.

• Close the Control Panel.

• Again, open the Control Panel.

• Restart your computer.
