Hello there!

I am having a problem with my desktop. I have recently downloaded a lion screensaver, and all of a sudden my desktop went black. I wanted to know where I can find solution for this screensaver lion too much CPU load.

Hi there user:

Facing the black screen of your computer, press control + alt + delete. A box will appear. Click or select the Task Manager Button. Click the Application tab, and then click New Task. Type ‘explorer.exe’ on the type box, then hit Ok. Exit the box by hitting the red X button.

Right-click and then select Properties. You can now choose your desired Wallpaper and get rid of the black screen. Problem solved!

It seems that there a some conflicts with the new screen saver and your computer. Here are ways to possibly solve the issue:
 
A) Set your computer power options.
  • Launch Control Panel, choose power options
  • Look for the settings to not allow your computer to go on standby or Turn off the monitor.
 
B) Ensure that you have the latest drivers for your computer's video card.
 
Depending on your video card manufacturer, you can always go to their website and download the latest video drivers from the support and downloads section.
