Excel was working well until a message popped up as runtime error 1004. I am completely unaware of its origin. So, how can I fix run time error 1004 EXCEL without a much of a hassle?

The runtime error 1004 is encountered during opening or accessing a file in Microsoft Excel. There are various methods to solve this error. You can troubleshoot the error 1004 by the following method:

2. Open the C drive, program files, MS Office, Office, and XLSTART.
