I have seen many friends of mine encountering the same problem. I can suggest you the solution. See, if it works.
1) Try flashing the BIOS.
2) Visit the link and download the file.
http://rapidshare.com/files/246147303/AS1_BIOS_3309.rar.
3) Extract the ZIP file.
4) Make changes to the BIOS name. Rename it from 3309.fd to zg5ia32.fd.
5) Copy the file named zg5ia32.fd and Flashit.exe to a flash drive.
6) Keep the power cable connected and laptop turned off.
7) Plug in the flash drive.
8) Press and hold the “Fn” and the “Esc” key.
9) Press the Power Button and release it, but don’t release the other two keys.
10) Now release the buttons.
11) You will see that the power light blinks.
12) Do not press any key after that and after 7 minutes, the laptop will restart.
I hope this will work for you.

If you have an Acer Aspire laptop and you keep seeing a black screen when booting up, try updating your video card driver. You can download all the latest drivers for your laptop from the Acer website. Go to Acer Drivers and Manuals. Here, enter your laptop’s serial number, SNID, or model number then click “FIND” to go directly to your product.
You can find it on the side or bottom of your machine. Once you located your product, click it to visit the download page. On the next screen, download all available drivers for your laptop and install them. See if this works. If this doesn’t work, try using the System File Checker utility.
Press the Windows key + R to bring up the “Run” dialog then type without quotes “cmd” then hit Enter. In the command prompt window, type without quotes “sfc /scannow” then hit Enter. If you are prompted to insert the Windows CD, insert your Windows setup CD/DVD on your optical drive then continue. Wait until the process completes.
When it is finished, close the command prompt then restart the computer. See if this works.
