Some keyboard keys not working on my laptop
Hi Srishan,
I have given a solution for you that would be helpful for you.
-
First you have to diagnosis your keyboard problem.
-
You need to clean up your keyboard by a damp lint free cloth area around key which are not working.
-
Then you need to remove the keys which are not working by fingernail clippers and hook up the key retainer.
-
Then you have to clean up the keyboard sensor with a dump free dry cloth. Be careful wiping the dump unconsciously it would be caused permanently damage your key.
-
Then you have to replace key carefuly.
-
Then you need to test your keyboard by a word processing program. If it will not fix then try to active a system restore point. If it will still exist then you have seek technician or replacing the keyboard.
Some keyboard keys not working on my laptop
Most laptops have a diagnostics tool built into them for users to run in case there are problems to verify if there is a hardware failure on the machine. For keyboard tests it usually consists of having the user press different keys on the keyboard or all the keys at that, and a response would be displayed on screen. If your computer did not come with one, try to take the keyboard out and reset the cable connector that connects it to the motherboard. If that doesn’t help, try cleaning the keyboard, but most likely you already need to have that keyboard replaced.
