0xe00084f8 error is a network error that occurs when the user backing up the remote agent data from the internet. The error message display ‘Final error: 0xe00084f8 – The network connection to the Backup Exec, Remote Agent has been lost. Check for network errors. Final error.’ The methods to fix the 0xe00084f8 error are as follows:

Method 1:

Check the cable connection.

The cable of the networking is wrongly looped and connected.

Method 2:

Try to back-up the data in the small files and perform the task.

Method 3: Check the event viewer, application logs.

Step 1: Open the Registry on the remote server.

Step 2: Go to Start->Run->Regedit.

Step 3: Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameter.

Step 4: Create a new Dword value named IRPStackSize.

Step 5: Set the value between 11 & 50.

Step 6: Reboot the system.
