Is the Sony CP-V3 USB Portable Charger released in the US? Which are the countries that have them?. Can I have all specifications and the usage purposes of this device?

Can this work for a laptop charging as well?

Unfortunately it is not available in the USA. Recently it was released in India.

At the time of this writing, the Sony CP-V3 USB Portable Charger still has not made its way to the U.S.. The areas confirmed to have it at the moment are India, Singapore, Japan, the UK, China, Philippines, and Malaysia. The device is designed for quick-charging your devices on the go. It utilizes a 2800mAh Li-Po battery that the company says will be able to retain 90% of its initial capacity after a thousand charging cycles. It can be fully charged from an empty juice to a 100% in 3 hours through its AC adaptor with an input of 5V (0.5A~1.0A).

The device only has 1 USB port and can perform well within 0°C ~ 35°C of temperature, and provide an hour of constant usage at 5V or 1.5A, while it can continuously charge mobile devices (usually at around 2.5~3.7V) for up to 6 hours. The retail box speaks of dimensions at approximately  38.8 x 99.0 x 19.0 mm.
