Sony Ericson Bluetooth headset water spilled

I have a stereo Bluetooth headset from Sony which I was using comfortably all the time. Last week, accidental I poured a lot of water on it. I was wearing it and during drinking water it happened. Now, due to this, it stopped playing music and the moment it happened I too turned it off. Now it’s only three days till now. I am reading lot of similar stuff happening to other mobiles and steps to do and so. But here I cannot remove the battery as it is not simply possible. How long should I wait before I even try to power it on? What else can I do to make it more safer before powering on? Will it come back to life?

As you have poured water into your headset the chances are that the water may get inside if so there will be chances for short circuit which will permanently damage your headset. As you have poured the water you may not get a warranty.

So you can do the following,

1. Try to heat your headset keeping it in warm places but not to direct sunlight.

2. Try to shake the headset as much as possible and check whether any water is pouring out.

3. Try to turn it on if everything seems fine.
