Hey! Just when the age of LCD and tablets is dawning, why did Sony have this CRT like monitor? What makes this to compete for LCDs if it is a CRT type?

Sony GDM-FW900: Huge Monitor is CRT

 

The Sony monitor CRT is now new. It has been released 5 years ago, and right now it’s discontinued. You can verify here http://www.superwarehouse.com/product/details/105660

Right now even LCD monitors will be discontinued in about 2 or 3 years and LED and OMELED and even 3D TV and monitors will make their impact on our market from now on. The truth is the evolution of technology in this domain is really good because the TV’s have great quality, if you buy a Samsung or LG. This is true also with monitors, the evolution is great, and this can only be good for us.
