Sony TV takes time to read 8GB or higher flash drives

I have a Sony Bravia TV model KDL50W800B, I noticed that it takes a long time for it to read files from a flash drive which is just about 8 GB. If that's the case, will it have more difficulties reading a flash drive with a higher capacity? Is there something I can do to make it read faster?

Hi!

 

It's hard to make a conclusion without understanding the background of your problem.

 

 

Have you tried other flash drive onto your TV? If you have not tried then we cannot make a conclusion that your TV has the problem. The problem may be from the flash drive. If you tried that with other flash drive and you have the same observations, then the problem may to the TV USB port. If the TV is the problem, then you should consult the service center if it's still under warranty. But even if it is no longer under warranty, you should consult the authorized service center.
