I have a vaio c series laptop VGN-CS320; it’s wonderful to look at. Very sleek looking and especially cute.
But my problem is it turns itself off when i'm using it. Literally. Not even go to shut down mode. Sometimes it hasn’t finished booting up. What should I do?
Sony Vaio turns off by itself
There can be several options for this problem. I am discussing them one by one here.
May be your laptop is heating up or you have a problem with your fan. Make sure that bottom of the laptop is correctly ventilated. If still the problem happens then check your laptop fan and make sure that it is working and running at a normal speed. To check the temperature, download the Mobile meter software.
Faulty RAM can also cause this problem. Please make sure that your RAM is working properly.
This can also be caused by a virus infection or a corrupt file. Make sure that your system has a good antivirus installed on it.
May be there is problem in your windows files. Try to recover these files from windows recovery or try to install a fresh copy of windows.
Sony Vaio turns off by itself
There may be hardware problem on the machine or a power problem. If it gets turned off all of a sudden, like it goes completely off, then you may have a loose battery or if you don’t use the battery and is just using the charger, it may be loosely connected to the computer. The port itself may be broken or you can just seat the connector properly. If the port is broken, you need a replacement motherboard. The same would be true if you have a loose battery. Try running a system diagnostics to be able to isolate the problem better and replace the parts that are defective.
