Sophos Anti virus services error while trying to open

Hi there,

I installed on my PC Sophos Antivirus and it doesn’t want to start. I tried to start it manually and is not working. When I tried to start it from Services this error appeared. I can’t start Sophos at all. Can anyone tell me please what is the problem ? How can I solve this ?

Sophos Anti virus services error while trying to open

Hi Joseph, in order for you to open and activate the Sophos anti-virus go to your Start menu then go to the control panel and go to the Device Manager, now click the view hidden devices and from there you must open the network adapters branch. You will notice the different adapters named Microsoft 6 to 2. Delete it all. Then re-start your computer and your anti-virus will of course start. Those are unnecessary program files which have been added to the original Sophos anti-virus.
