Sophos Cleanup cannot be completed after a wrong scan

Hello,

While I was scanning my PC with Sophos Antivirus these errors appeared. I don’t know why the scan and the cleanup couldn’t be completed because I didn’t even move the mouse. Any solutions ? What should I do to make a complete scan and a full cleanup ?

Sophos Cleanup cannot be completed after a wrong scan

Hello,

 

You have three options to solve your problem:

 

1. Perform the scan with archive scanning disabled.

2. Revert your update to a previous version or use an older version of the software.

3. Scan only small sections of your hard drive.

This error is often the result of memory issues. The application causes “bloat” and squeezes its own processes to a halt.
