Sound not working in my Windows 8 laptop
Hi,
This is a very common problem that usually occurs when you plug in sound devices into your laptop and there can be a few reasons for the occurrence of such problem.
The problem can be caused because,
1. The external device somehow gave some unexpected response to the driver and corrupted the driver.
2. The device damaged your hardware.
For the solution,
1. Open your device manager and try updating the driver for the device that is causing the problem.
2. If it is still malfunctioning then from the device manager uninstall the driver then reinstall it.
3. In case the problem is still not resolved then you'll have to get the hardware checked.
Hope you got your answer! 🙂
