The windows mail error 0x800ccc18 usually occurs in Outlook as well as Outlook Express; Windows mail for vista and Windows Live Mail. When your email account is configured for Secure Password Authentication(SPA).The telecommunication server is not configured for this type of connection. This error message usually appears when your email is no longer working.

Steps to fix Windows mail error 0x800ccc18:

• Open Microsoft Outlook and then go to the Tools menu, select Email
• Select view and change the existing email
• Select the particular email account and click on change
