Speakers wont play on VLC and Firefox

Got me a new CPU with built in Realtek High Definition Audio. Plugged there an LCD, Speakers and Mic. I just noticed that rear speakers are not working when I play media using VLC Player, and Firefox. However, when I play a video on the Youtube sites all the speakers are working perfectly. I tried to configure and "test" the speakers all are working well. Can you advise me why is that speakers are not working on VLC and Firefox?

Speakers wont play on VLC and Firefox

Which version of VLC and Firefox you have used? Use the update version of VLC or Firefox. If you found the same problem, then go to the control panel and check the sounds and audio services. Find out the device you have there. If okay, then try to set all of the defaults.
