Hi,

I am facing a problem in add-on shutdown, I get an error message after downloads doesn’t work in windows 8. I used this plug-in regularly, but now with Windows 8 it makes an issue. I never experienced this before so having hard time. Please guide me to fix the error. Thanks.

Reading your problems it seems that there is a problem with your JDownloader. So, until it is found how to call different shutdown methods in Windows 8 – JD Shutdown will not work properly. By the way are you using the most recent version of JDownloader with all its latest updates installed? It is risky to use older versions of Java. Just try to install Java 6 Update 37. Hope this works now.
