Speeding up the link speed in a wireless connection

I have a wireless g connection with that connects to a wireless n adapter, the link speed is 11Mbs when I check under the properties of the connection type. How can I improve the link speed to around 54Mbs for the connection between the router and the adapter? And can the speed be fixed at a certain value?

Speeding up the link speed in a wireless connection

If you want to increase your bandwidth speed there are multiple ways but process is same. First you have to enter into your router than setup ip address and subnet mask . After setting these two things you can set the bandwidth by using bandwidth command on the interface where you want to increase.
