Splitter For 1 Keyboards 2 Computers?

Is it possible to use a splitter and hook up one keyboard plus mouse to one computer.  I really do not want a hub if I can help it. That way you have to switch to use it and I would like both of them to see the to instantly work on both.

I believe you are managing 2 CPUs both running simultaneously. I recommend that you get a KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) Switch. This is usually used in the enterprise for managing multiple servers by using the same resources for the entire fleet. It''s a plug-and-play device that can be used on different computers.
