Hi,
I often get the error message whenever I try to open the Spotify links in any Firefox. I have checked this issue from other browsers but the same problem displays. What should I do to fix this annoying issue? I have searched for the solution from different forums but could not get any resolution. I want to be free from this error. Please help me. Thanks.

On the Spotify command line you have to acknowledge the "/Uri" parameter. Then you have to follow these steps:
1> At Preferences choose Advanced and then Programs
2> In Programs window edit the Spotify protocol
3> Click on Open with other application and browse to spotify.exe
4> Then in the parameter field you will have to add /uri

If you want to open a Spotify link on your web browser, you need to go to the Spotify website and use their web player. Go to Spotify Web Player to access the web player. Here, you are required to sign in. If you don’t have a Spotify account yet, you need to sign up using either your Facebook account or your email address.
But actually, you don’t need to go to their web player page when you want to open a link. Spotify links automatically opens via the Spotify web player by default. On the other hand, if you want to open the links using the Spotify application on your computer instead of the web player, open the Spotify web player then click Settings.
Check “Play open.spotify.com URLs in desktop app”. Green color means on and gray color means off. And that’s it. Next time you open a Spotify link, it will automatically play on the Spotify app on your computer and no longer on the web player. In case the Spotify app is not installed on your computer, you will be directed to its download page.
