SQL Server Import and Export Wizard Unexpected Unrecoverable Error

When I am using Microsoft’s SQL Server Management Studio’s Import and Export Wizard, I am getting an error message. Whichever option I click, it closes the error window.

I have the SQL server installed on my Windows Vista machine and have not faced any problems before.

Can someone help me with the issue?

SQL Server Import and Export Wizard Unexpected Unrecoverable Error

Try to solve your difficulty, by configuring the file or simply downloading and installing extended. NET Framework 4.

To simply configure the file without importing, manually type as below:

"C:Program FilesMicrosoft SQL Server100DTSBinnDTSWizard.exe.config",

Using Notepad or Administrator and then notes out

<supportedRuntime version="v4. 0"/> . Put an allowance to the line about v2.0.50727 apart.

In downloading and installing Extended. NET Framework 4. Check, whether your system or computer has the newest Windows updates; then go to the Extended. NET Framework 4 website look for the download push button ; then click it to begin the process of downloading.

You can now begin to install the application by clicking “Run” and it will automatically open. Every now and then, update your Windows for security.

ToddPerez,

• I've encountered this error and it was frustrating when I first got it but after tweaking around my applications a bit, I found out that installing .NET Framework 4 Extended, fixed this issue and the error messages worked normally ever since.
• I am working out of Windows 7 X86 Ultimate and SQ2008R2.
• Click here Microsoft Download for .NET Framework 4 Extended.
