SRS audio sandbox installer error 1606

Hi

Recently I tried to install the SRS audio sandbox for the audio enhancement of my PC. When I started the installation process, the installshield wizard opened up . when I clicked 'next' in the dialogue box, the following error appeared on my screen.

The screenshot of the error is attached below:

The error says:

Error 1606. Could not access network location C:Documents and SettingsAllUsersDocumentsActiv SoftwareActivestudio3

Retry Cancel

I don’t know what this error 1606 means? I have posted this problem to many forums but still could not find the right solution. If anyone of you can please guide me out of this situation, I'll be grateful. Looking forward to your replies.

SRS audio sandbox installer error 1606

Hi,

This message generally occurs when any value of registry key is not available. To solve this problem, you have to find and replace the key. After this you will be able to install the software. It is a sequential process.

So, full knowledge about it essential to gain success.

Have you tried going to the Microsoft support webpage and ask about it? If not you can try this method and see if it does work on your computer. Please click the link https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/315352/error-message-when-you-install-a-program-error-1606-could-not-access-n. You can also try to reformat your computer or upgrade it to Windows 7. I hope this will help you.

SRS audio sandbox installer error 1606

If you want to install ActivInspire, check that your computer meets the requirements. The latest version at the moment supports Windows 7 Service Pack 1, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10 both x86 and x64. It requires 1 GHz or faster Intel Pentium 4 processor, 512 MB RAM, 1.5 GB free space, and 1024 x 768 minimum screen resolution.

For prerequisites, the following are required: Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 or higher and Adobe Flash Player 11 or higher. For Flash Player, download the following:

• Adobe Flash Player ActiveX – this is the Flash Player component for Microsoft Internet Explorer
• Adobe Flash Player NPAPI – this is for Mozilla Firefox
• Adobe Flash Player PPAPI – this is the Flash Player component for Google Chrome, Opera, and other chromium-based web browsers

You should also make sure you are installing with an administrator account. Try downloading the latest version of ActivInspire.
