Is there any way to play Star Wars Episode 3 on Xbox One or Xbox 360? I just bought it on Amazon and it is not working. I got my kids really excited for this game.
According to a reply in answers.microsoft.com, the game “Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith” is backward compatible with Xbox 360 but not with Xbox One. Another thing, for the backward compatibility to work, your Xbox 360 requires an official Microsoft brand Xbox 360 hard drive. The following Star Wars games are backward compatible with Xbox One:
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed – released on September 16, 2008 and available in iOS, J2ME, N-Gage, Nintendo DS, Sony PlayStation 2, Sony PlayStation 3, Sony PlayStation Portable, Wii, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows, and macOS.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II – released on October 26, 2010 in North America and October 29, 2010 in Europe. It is available in Sony PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows, Wii, Nintendo DS, and iOS.
The following Star Wars games are backward compatible with Xbox 360:
Star Wars: Battlefront – initial release was on September 21, 2004 as “Star Wars: Battlefront” and the latest release was on November 17, 2017 as “Star Wars: Battlefront II.” It is available in Microsoft Windows, Sony PlayStation 2, Sony PlayStation Portable, Sony PlayStation 4, Nintendo DS, Smartphone, Xbox, and Xbox One.
