The StarBurn burning engine could not be initialized

Hello trouble shooter,

I am not a technical person, don’t have much knowledge. I have a problem with StarBurn; I downloaded from the licensed website. But I am not able to initialize, I ended up with an error message. I double checked it CDBurnerXp is perfectly installed, but still I am getting this error. Anyone else is facing this kind of error? Please help.

Make sure that CDBurnerXP is installed properly, re-install if necessary. If you are using the portable version of CDBurnerXP, try the regular setup package instead.

The StarBurn burning engine could not be initialized

CDBurnerXP is a nice software to burn CD/DVD. Its powerful environment is very much nice. But this issue is very annoying.

The first solution is to re-install CDBurnerXP again. Just run the setup file again and overwrite the older one.

If that doesn’t fix, then try installing the latest one.

If no luck, then this older version will work. Though this is an older version, it doesn’t make this sort of trouble.

If you still fail, my final suggestion will be using any other software. BurnAware Free, ImgBurn etc. These are good enough and doesn’t make any trouble.
