Start the Program Compatibility Wizard
Hi,
Compatibility trouble shoot can run in windows vista and windows 7. Two condition when you can run this wizard. First when you install any program and found error and second when you run the program and program could not run. You can do this:-
1 Right click on setup file or exe file, an option window will be open.
2 Click on troubleshoot compatibly option.
3 In next window click on troubleshoot program option.
4 right check on next window on appropriate option. And click on next button.
5 in next window select operating system that could run this application well.
6 In next window click on “Start the program”.
7 And in last window set this option default.
That’s done. Same process for compatibility trouble shoots when you start program.
Start the Program Compatibility Wizard
It could have been better if you mentioned the operating system that you are using so that we can focus on that. But I will give you the procedure for starting the program compatibility wizard in vista by using help and support:

On your computer, you will need to click Start, and then you will choose Help and Support item in the start menu.

Locate the 'Do you want to get the latest online content when you search help?’ Notification window, and from there you will need to click the Yes button.

Then in the Search Help textbox, you will just type there Compatibility, and then you will press ENTER.

Next you will look for 'Best 30 results for Compatibility', and from there you will need to find and click the Start the Program Compatibility Wizard link.

Thereafter the Program Compatibility Wizard will initialize.
