On starting the LivePC from the VMware player showing error

Hello,

On starting the LivePC from the player, I was prompted with the following error. The error prevents the VMware player from launching. I really need your help so please provide me the step by step solution. I would be really grateful.

VMware Player

Error while opening the virtual

machine: A file access error

occurred on the host or guest

operating system.

On starting the LivePC from the VMware player showing error

Hi Lesa,

 

These are the steps you might use to solve this problem:

Step 1: You have to find the C: > ProgramData directory to your computer.

Step 2: Select the Application folder then open it then renames all .DLL to "OLD".

Step 3: Open the "Task Manager" by right click the taskbar then select the "Start Task Manager" or just press the Ctrl + Shift + Esc and Hit "Process".

Step 4: Select the identified files the right click then ends the process.

Step 5: Then remove the references in the Windows Registry.

You can now launch the application.
