Steam OS Linux Distro; Is it worth it?

I've read on webpages that Steam OS is also a Linux based Operating System. Does Steam OS run all Windows games? Many are having problem running Windows games on their Distro such as Ubuntu, Linux Mint, etc. What are the similar OS like Steam OS which support some Windows games on Linux?

Steam OS Linux Distro; Is it worth it?

SteamOS is a specialized gaming operating system of Valve and it is based on Linux distribution. Any Linux supported game of Steam should run on SteamOS. If you have the minimum requirements matched, then any Linux supported windows game can run on Linux, but SteamOS is completely dedicated for gaming, so it’s the best one.
