Stellar Phoenix Jpeg Repair to fix jpg files on Mac?

Stellar Phoenix Jpeg Repair apparently cannot fix jpg files on mac if an important marker is missing in the jpeg file. How many such important markers are there, and if one is missing why can't it still repair using the other markers or is there only one important marker, how many important markers are there and what are they for, what is the format of a jpeg file?

Stellar Phoenix Jpeg Repair to fix jpg files on Mac?

The tool displaying this error means the header information of the file is incorrect. Perhaps, the header is .jpeg but file extension is different or it could also be the opposite case. To get the jpeg file repaired successfully the header information should be correct. In most cases any repairing tool will fail to repair an image that has an important marker missing.
