Hi! I work in a company, and my boss ordered me to turn on the firewall of the system provided to me to increase the security of the important official document so that outsiders cannot attack them. Please provide the steps for how do I turn on my firewall on my PC?

Steps For ‘how Do I Turn On My Firewall’ In The PC

Since you haven’t mentioned the windows you are using so I’m going to mention steps to enable Firewall in different Windows separately.

To enable Firewall in Windows8/10-

• Go to the ‘Control Panel.’
• Click on the ‘System and Security.’
• Select the ‘Windows Firewall.’
• Click on the ‘Navigation Panel.’
• Select ‘Turn Windows Firewall On or Off.’
• Go to the ‘Customise Setting’ windows.
• Select ‘Turn on Windows Firewall.’
• Click on ‘OK.’

To enable Firewall in Windows7-

• Click on the ‘Start’ button.’
• Type ‘Firewall’ in the search bar and press ‘Enter.’
• Select ‘Windows Firewall.’
• Click on ‘Change Settings.’
• Now, turn the Windows Firewall ‘ON.’
• Click on ‘OK.’
