Hey, the steps for the windows defender turned off by group policy are as follows:

• First open the Microsoft console management
• Now go to the file > add/ remove snap > available snap > group policy > add
• Next select the group policy and click to browse the same.
• Next specify the computer policy and click for finish
• Now right click for the name group and click for its properties
• Now disable the configuration settings
• Lastly close the console management by click on the Ok button.
