Recently, I installed an application, and now my system keeps displaying cannot connect to server error. How to fix this error?

Steps To Fix Cannot Connect To Server Error

Hey! The cannot connect to server error may be due to a variety of reasons. First, try to restart your system or try restarting your router. It would refresh the internet connection. If these methods don’t work, then press start and R together on the desktop. Type regedit in the dialog box then press OK.

Select the registry sub key:

KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager.

Delete the pending file operations by right-clicking Pending File Rename Operations.

Next, click on the registry subkey:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update. Select reboot required and then delete it. Press on exit to exit the Registry Editor. Restart the system to fix the error.
