Steps To Fix Carbon Monoxide Detector Error
Hey! Carbon monoxide detector error can arise due to a variety of reasons. It may be due to alarm malfunction, sudden power surge, or due End-of-Life warning. If alarm malfunction is the reason, then press and hold the test button for a while. If the detector still shows error, then press, hold and release the peak level, after which it would show error code. This code then can be used to determine the cause of error in the detector. If the error is due to sudden power surge, then push, hold and release the power button after five seconds. If the error has occurred due to End-of-Life Warning, then you have to replace the detector with a new one.
