Hi, chrome update failed error three is opposing me while checking for updates for my chrome. Why is it happening? Can I solve it?

Steps to fix chrome update failed error 3.

Chrome update failed error three is occurring because The update server to download the latest version of the browser is not assessable by the inbuilt updater of the chrome. You can surely solve it.  Please go through these methods.

Solution 1

Try to complete the update manually.

• Open Google chrome.
• Click on the menu bar.
• Go to the Help option.
• Choose About Google Chrome.
• Google Chrome will check for updates and download them automatically.
• Wait for the process to finish.
• Click on the Relaunch
• Chrome will reopen.

Solution 2:

Shut down and reopen Google Chrome and Computer.

• Click on the menu.
• Choose Exit.

Now, you can go to open it again.

 

Solution 3:

Enable Google Update Services

• Right-click on the Windows.
• Choose Run from the menu.
• Enter keywords MSC and press Enter button.
• Look for the Google Update Service (update) and double click on it.
• Click on the arrow.
• Click the Apply shortcut button and OK at the bottom.
• Look for the Google Update Service (update) and double click on it.
• Select Manual for Startup type.
• Elect Apply and then OK at the bottom.
• Restart your computer
• Try to update Chrome again.
