Storage information error with the capacity server

Hello there,

This is the error that I have when I want to use Backup Exec 2012 and I don’t have a solution for this one. I did a deep search on the Internet and nothing useful was found. Can anyone help me please to solve this error ? Can this be prevented on the future ?

Message: The amount of free space on the disk has reached the “Low disk space” threshold.

Backup Exec will continue to use the disk, but you should consider an increase of the available space to store backup data. To provide more disk space, you can create additional disk storage devices on other drive letters, or delete the backup sets that are no longer needed from this disk storage device.

Storage information error with the capacity server

Hello,

 

Try following steps :

First increase your disk space.

On the other drives, create additional disk storage devices and only use for your backup.

Delete the backup set that you do not need longer.

 

Then following steps :

Open the Backup Exec console > Storage > Right-Click on the Device > Details > Properties > adjust the threshold levels

• 25 % free

• Warning = 15 % free

• Critical = 5 % free
