I have an ArcGis system used solely for creating maps and geographic information which is in lined on my current task. Now there is plenty of data, I wish to store and manage that information and share them with other users. I had heard of the Oracle database before. Is it possible using the oracle data provider arcgis? If so, please give a tutorial or link.

Thank you

Hello

You can use Oracle data provider with arcgis. There is couple of steps you need to follow. First be sure to install Oracle client application onto your client machine.

1. Install Oracle ArcGis on client machine

2. Restart your ArcGis application so it can recognize new files you installed

3. Add connection from ArcGis, that way you'll know if you have done everything correctly.
