I want to hear your suggestions about the best bulletin board system (BBS) engine that could be used for developing an online BBS for a small college. I opt a bbs engine that's free and open-source. Where do I get this? Thanks!

Suggestions for the Best BBS Engine for a Small College

Hello Jane,

There is a open source bulletin board system (BBS) available. Which is free and also it is downloadable. It is called WWIV BBS (bulletin board system). The programming language used is C++. It has windows plus Linux version available to download also supported by Win 32. It has many released version and Apache version is yet to come for the better development.
