Symantec Endpoint Protection client fails to install

During the installation of Symantec Endpoint Protection it stops with the following error message.

Can anyone please show me how to fix that?

Error 1402. Could not open key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun.

Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.

Hi,

Do you know you have permission to access and modify the registry key to install the product properly? Be sure of it. Then check about you full administrative rights to the registry with the account what you are using to install the SEP client.

If all those are ok, you should go forward.
