Sync error in Turbo Boost feature

Hello everyone!

I am hoping that the experts here can help me out with my problem:

I recently acquired a Dell Inspiron n5110 with an Intel Core i5-2410M microprocessor (2.3GHz, 3MB cache, 2.9GHz Turbo Boost). Basically, my computer is mainly intended for playing games, but before I even get to install so much as one game, I have been experiencing some difficulties with it.

I found out that my CPU works well @ 2.9GHz if it is in the Turbo Boost mode, which is one of the key features of an i5 microprocessor.

When I tried to install the Dell Application Software on a 64-bit Windows 7 OS, (location: "Intel Turbo Boost Technology Monitor Software Application 2.0" Driver ID R292474.EXE) it showed an error message. 

The following is a screenshot of the problem I've experienced with the installation of the Dell Application Software: 🙁

Intel® Turbo Boost Technology Monitor 2.0 – InstalledShield Wizard

Installation cannot continue because this computer does not have a processor with Intel ® Turbo Boost Technology capability.

This application requires an Intel® Core™ i7 processor, Intel Core i7 processor Extreme, or Intel Core i5 processor with Intel Turbo Boost Technology. For more information, see http:www.intel.com/technology/turboboost.

Perhaps the system is not capable of supporting Turbo Boosting. What are your thoughts on this?

Please help me out.

Sync error in Turbo Boost feature

Hello,

According to what I have research maybe your driver don’t support windows 7 64 bit, so you have to download a version that will support windows 7 64 bit systems, I will give you a link to where will you download a Turbo Boost Technology Monitor Software which 64 bit compatible dell driver support

Go to the CPU and click it and there will be drop down selection and you will need to download it in the right side that says “Download file” After you download the file, Install the program and it will run smoothly Good day sir and enjoy your stay here

Thanks for the advice. I guess the driver is the problem. Now i can use the full potential of my PC. I will be really enjoying the stay here. Experts have helped me a lot with my problems. Thanks a lot!
