System freezes after choosing to install Zorin 8

I am trying to install Zorin 8 in Virtualbox but it's giving me problems. It boots to the Zorin 8 disc when I click start and I can choose the install prompt ( Start the installer directly ), then it locks up. Am I doing something wrong? Any help is appreciated.

System freezes after choosing to install Zorin 8

To get your hands on Zorin 8 into your computer:

Install the OS directly to your physical drive, this will ensure a 99% success rate

Advantages:

·         Enables you to fully evaluate the OS performance in terms of processing different second-party and third -party applications.

·         The benefit of having a dual operating system, when 1 OS is down, you can still continue working on important projects that need to be done on an urgent basis.

Disadvantage:

·         Consume additional hard-drive space as you're going to install again all the applications that you need.

Unfortunately, a lot of freezing issues occur when installing Zorin 8 into Orcles VM VirtualBox, but Zorin 9 proves to be successful than its predecessor.
