System Not Booting , what can i do ?
Hi there Nichole,
It seems that you have had a HDD failure, which is probably the cause of corrupted files or viruses. Â Here are two solutions for your problem.
-
REFORMAT : Try reformatting your PC. Â Almost all PC problems get solved when reformatting. Â It renews any corrupted files from your HDD and deletes any viruses that linger there. Â Also be sure on how to reformat your PC. Â If you don't know how, just ask a friend to do it.
-
Replace your HDD : Â It seems that your hard disk has corrupted files and needs to be replaced.
-
Call your local technician to diagnose your problem. Â Hopefully he knows his stuff on HDD's.

If your computer always crashes, the operating system that is currently running is having problems in its components. If there is a major component in Windows, that suffers great damage because of an unexpected incident while it was being used, using any kind of disk utility software will still do no good.
Disk utility programs only fix file errors found in the file structure, any cross-linked file or lost cluster. It doesn’t fix program flow errors. I’m sure, there is an incident that you might have been already forgotten where the error might have originated.
Formatting the hard drive would be a good solution and then installing a fresh copy of Windows afterwards. Always do regular system maintenance on your computer. Let’s say, do a disk defragmentation every week to improve the computer’s performance. Run a weekly disk check to keep your hard drive in perfect running condition and always keep a reliable Antivirus running at all times.
