System restore is missing in windows. Actually, it hasn’t disappeared, but it is turned off by default in some systems or accidentally turned off.
System restore is missing in windows. Actually, it hasn’t disappeared, but it is turned off by default in some systems or accidentally turned off.
To turn it on, do the following:
● Search ‘system restore’ into the search box.
● Select ‘Create a restore point.’
● Click on the System Protection tab from ‘System Properties Panel’.
● Choose C: drive from Protection settings (which is by default selected).
● Press Configure.
● Click the radio button next to Turn on system protection.
● Use the slider to specify how much of your hard drive to use for restore points — 5-10% should do it.
System protection is used to undo unwanted system changes. We can also restore the previous settings by clicking System Restore.
