Techniques to detect hidden damage causing ads

Hi

Many trusted web pages and apps also pose a threat of harmful ads. To overcome this, a technique was developed by Chen. Usually, when users click on some ads by accident, a new page in another tab is displayed. This page may contain some harmful code irrespective of the content of the page. The content of the page is to trick users into entering their personal information and saving this information to display unwanted ads, etc. Chen’s software directly goes to the last page in all the tabs that will be opened by clicking on an ad and then it searches for malicious content on this last web page. It also detects the adware that tries to hide from being detected.
