Telerik-webUI Test Studio Error initializing recorder

Hi TechyV,

When I started using the test tool and tried to run test and run command it gives me the following error.

What can be the possible reason?

Error initializing recorder: HTTP could not register URL http://+:8000/designCanveas/77624/. Your process does not have access rights to this namespace (see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/framework/wcf/feature-details/configuring-http-and-https for details).

Recording will not function.

Telerik-webUI Test Studio Error initializing recorder

 

Hi there user:

No worries, you can get rid of this issue when/if you run as administrator. Go to your command prompt in the administrator mode (Run as Administrator) and then just type the command below.

‘net user administrator /active:yes’.

Afterwards, just log-out. (You can also opt to restart to refresh your unit)

Issue solved!
